As a fiduciary Financial Advisor for Whitaker Myers Wealth Managers, he puts his clients—and their needs—first.
Offering a wide range of investment services and alternatives, Joe is committed to helping you achieve your financial goals. Specializing in a planning-based approach to your money, he works with clients to design investment portfolios to meet their individual needs. Joe also believes in advising with the heart of a teacher and like Dave Ramsey, Joe’s focus is on helping clients live their lives debt-free and financially independent.
Joe enlisted in the United States Army and later served as a Commissioned Army Officer. He earned a bachelor’s from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s from Oklahoma City University. He worked in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry as an Executive for 30 years, with experience in Claims, Operations, and Financial Risk Management.
Before joining Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers, Joe was a Ramsey-trained Master Financial Coach and operated his own coaching business for 7 years. He believes in providing financial guidance and advice with the Heart of a Teacher. He and his wife have successfully walked the 7-baby steps for over 25 years and can help you do so as well. He is driven to help you make decisions that can help you change your life and your money.
Joe loves spending time with his wife (and high school sweetheart), Tammi, their three awesome adult children, 3 adorable grandchildren, and their wonderful Huskie Hershey. He enjoys camping, home improvement, and watching live music. Joe also enjoys leading life groups at Heartland Community Church (Medina), such as the Kingdom Leaders Share Community and the Financial Peace University Coaching programs.
